at Park View
Our dedicated staff are committed to providing all of our residents with exactly the right level of support to meet their individual needs and enhance their wellbeing.
We believe that everyone should be valued as an individual and that by working in partnership with our residents, their relatives, friends and carers we maintain and promote the wellbeing, maximise independence and ensure our residents feel comfortable and happy at all times.
The types of care provided at Park View are listed below. Please click on the title for further information.
For those who may need more care in the future but now do need domestic or personal help, a close care apartment at Park View is a great solution. Here, you can live in an apartment, with your own front door, living room with kitchenette, ensuite shower room and bedroom. Residents subscribe to a package, which includes food, inclusive of all meals, soft drinks, tea and coffee, all heating, lighting, water & utilities including Council Tax and a daily cleaning and laundry service.
All residents benefit from the care and support services and facilities which are paid via a service charge. You would also have access to many extra services tailored to your needs and monitored by a care plan, which is determined during an assessment of your needs prior to admission
We believe that the apartments at Park View are best suited to those people who are still quite independent and we have made the assumption that you will be able to shower or wash and dress yourself. We also assume that you are able to make a cup of tea and a light snack using the provisions we have stocked your kitchenette with. Your breakfast, lunch time and evening meal are prepared for you, and can be eaten in the communal lounge dining room, or in your own apartment as you wish. There is an assisted bathroom where staff can help you enjoy a soak, and a domestic laundry room where you can do your own washing and ironing, with or without support if you do not wish to send your washing to our main laundry.
If you need any further help with your activities of daily living, we will be able to provide this with our onsite staff, and have a range of packages of care with different fee levels to suit your needs, however should your care requirements increase beyond the scope of the staffing ratio, we may request that you transfer to another room in the home, where we can better meet your needs.
