Purpose-built and situated in Gloucester Quays, Park View is a Home for Older People offering support across a range of care environments; Dementia Care, Residential Care, and Close Care Apartments.

Built over four floors and with a large garden, we offer a range of care tailored to each person’s needs. From our specialist Memory Lane communities designed for people living with dementia, to our Residential Community where we support those who need extra help with daily living, and our Close Care Apartments for those looking to retain their independence with the security of knowing support is always nearby.

Above all, our goal is simple: to support each resident live life to the fullest, with dignity, comfort, and joy.

Types of Care

Dementia Care

Our philosophy at Park View is ‘person first, dementia second’. Some people living with dementia find that their declining mental abilities can be distressing, leaving them feeling vulnerable and in need of reassurance and support.

Close Care Apartments

For those who may need care in the future but need domestic or personal help, a close care apartment at Park View is a great solution. Here, you can live in an apartment with your own living room, kitchenette, ensuite shower room and bedroom.

Respite Care

We can offer Respite Care for a few days or a few weeks. We understand how difficult it can be for families or friends to provide ongoing care and this offers your family or carers the chance to do daily chores, go on holiday or simply have a break.

Palliative and End of Life Care

We firmly believe that everyone deserves dignity and respect as they approach and reach the end of their life and we provide sensitive and compassionate end-of-life care for people with an illness where recovery is not expected.

My dad was a resident from November 2019 until his death in January 2020. He was resident on the 2nd-floor nursing level to begin and then on the 1st-floor dementia level when his behaviour became challaging. I only have praise for Park View. My dad was not the easiest of people. All the staff, particularly, on the dementia level treated my dad with care and kindness. A special mention to the Home Service Manager for being calm and treating my dad with respect and kindness and the Clinical Lead for her caring nature and keeping me in the loop with updates on dad. He passed away in Park View after a short illness. The care he received during the end was wonderful and they made this difficult time easier. Thank you. Park View arranges many activities and there is always lots of great things for the residents to do. It is a lovely care home. Clean, modern and beautifully decorated.
